Dr Sudhir Sethi
Dr Sudhir Sethi is a Consultant Paediatrician, MBBS, MD, MRCP, FRCPCH, MPH, DipIBLM who has been practising in the UK for over 30 years.
He completed his MBBS at JIPMER, Pondicherry and his MD Paediatrics at Grant Medical College, JJ Hospital, Mumbai. Dr Sethi is a Board-Certified Lifestyle Physician and a Medical Consultant at SHARAN. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He has a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Nottingham and is a recognised Consultant for the WHO IMCI programme since 1999. He has been involved in humanitarian aid projects in Bosnia and Nepal and has contributed to the UN Committee meetings in Geneva on the Rights of the Child. Dr Sethi is a Trustee for AFRUCA (African Unite Against Child Abuse).
He has been involved in International Child Projects in Nepal, Palestine and India. Has worked in Balkans during the crisis working with Kosovan refugees and training child health professionals at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Dr Sethi has extensive media experience, having undertaken formal training in “Handling the Media” via the BBC and NHS. He has contributed to newspapers, regularly reporting on the projects that he has been involved with, e. g. Topics connected to health issues like Prevention of Shaken Babies, Breast Feeding, (Baby Friendly Initiative, UNICEF) Immunisation & Ricketts etc. Television programmes like Channel 4 Television series (UK) - More Embarrasing Illnesses - Bedwetting. Dr Sethi also regularly contributes to Radio shows on child health and welfare. The BBC programme 'Missing Girls' in UK Asian Community won Sony Gold Award. He has been interviewed extensively for Newspapers, Radio, and Television including the recent interview for Newsnight for Girl Child Issue. He is also actively involved with training, research and has lectured regionally, nationally and Internationally.
His special interests are in the areas of Lifestyle Medicine, Child Protection and, Children’s Rights, International Child Health and Child Public Health.
Mr Sheil Sethi
Sheil has displayed a strong aptitude for business and entrepreneurship from an early age and has a wide range of business, charitable and sporting experience. Sheil is currently working towards to an undergraduate degree in business management from The London School of Economics and Political Science and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Sheil is keen to take the group forward expanding into new sectors.
